Horizon Technologies is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Cruise and Vacation Packages Specialist, you will be responsible for helping clients plan, customize, and book their cruise and vacation packages. Your expertise and exceptional customer service will be instrumental in creating memorable travel experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Consultation:

• Assist clients in understanding their travel preferences and needs, providing expert advice on cruise and vacation package options.

Package Customization:

• Tailor vacation packages to meet individual client requirements, including destinations, activities, accommodations, and budget.

Product Knowledge:

• Stay up-to-date on cruise lines, resorts, hotels, and travel destinations to offer informed recommendations and information to clients.

Booking and Reservations:

• Handle the entire booking process, from making reservations to processing payments and securing necessary travel documents.

Customer Service:

• Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth travel experience for clients.

Sales and Promotions:

• Promote and upsell additional services, upgrades, or special offers to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and organized records of client information, travel itineraries, and financial transactions.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay informed about industry trends and new travel products to enhance your expertise and customer service.

Follow-Up:

• Follow up with clients after their trips to gather feedback, build relationships, and encourage repeat business.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role, with expertise in cruise and vacation package planning.
• Strong knowledge of popular travel destinations, cruise lines, resorts, and vacation activities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using travel booking software and systems.
• Sales-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A passion for travel and a willingness to explore new destinations.
• Certification from a recognized travel agency school or association is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A valid travel consultant license or equivalent credentials, if required in your jurisdiction.
